Bernardo Di Sabatino combines an excellent knowledge regarding information technologies applied to the music - Sound Engineering, Computer Music and Sound Design - with the radical passion for music - in all its nuances.
His love for traditional jazz-lounge music led him first (2006) to develop the project LATENZAZERO (initially as a duo with Stefano Cascioli) liquid transparency and delicious chill-out factory. Issued under this name, the album "True Lounge Project" (2006) for netlabel Sojus Records and then, for Neorecords, the EP "Gekology" (distributed by Amazon, iTunes). LATENZAZERO is a project still in place and has contributed (2011) with two original tracks (Loopi, Sleeping Giant) to the Ivan Graziani tribute-album, produced by famous Italian jazz musicians who play the songs of the famous italian singer/guitarist in a modern way.
The exploration of modern dance-music takes place as KURTZ, a sound machine that incorporates and metabolizes elements of Massive Attack, Groove Armada, Luomo, Seth Troxler, Kruder & Dorfmeister, dZihan & Kamien, Tricky, Pantha Du Prince, Bjork, Nightmares On Wax, to shape a personal-minimal-deep house music.
Among the recent releases, the beautiful soulful remix for Mr.Fresh - All Night Long (Neorecords), with saxophonist Fabrizio Mandolini, "Bit of Thrill EP" released for Fer Ferrari’s DeepClass Records (a benchmark for quality deep-house music in the world which has the support of DJs like Roger Sanchez, Laurent Garnier, Dimitri from Paris), the EP "Cosmoboy" for Estonian D-Lab Records, this time under the name COSMOBOYS; a new project with the house music DJ Fabrizio Ciancy, signifying the feverish activity that characterizes this eclectic Italian artist/producer.
